Kungfu Ron has items for sale that are up to 10% cheaper than the lowest price of any of our competitors. If you are wondering how we can possible do it, please read on.

The first, and most important, thing to note is our swords (and our competitor's) are NOT combat steel. These are strictly exhibition/training swords. They are fully functional and could certainly be used as weapons, but if you were fighting someone with a real sword, these simply wouldn't stand up. The blades are much thinner than that of a traditional fighting broad sword, which in turn makes them look nicer in action and gives a much more defined whipping/snapping sound which is great for many of the flashier traditional wushu exibition forms. When you look at the prices we are offering, you might just assume that this is a mark of lower quality. It is not. We have in fact purchased swords from several other online distributers and confirmed that they are the same exact same swords. When trying to justify the price discrepancy I can only think of a few possible explanations:

1) Other distributers are going through, possibly several, middle men. We buy directly from manufacturers here in China, and often spend multiple hours bargaining over prices which is standard practice here. We make sure to get the best possible price to pass it on to you.

2) Some of the more casual online dealers don't know enough about the quality of the weapons they are buying and then selling. These swords are rarely forged swords, but instead factory made. Most of the swords from 'Dragon Well Forge' are in fact just factory pressed. This can also lead to large gaps in quality for swords that are being sold by the manufacturer for the same price. Since we get to hand pick which swords we will buy out of a particular batch, it is cheaper for us and you both.

3) Put simply, some sellers are ripping people off. My business experiences have proven that with better price, quality of product and service, and trust/rapport between consumer and distributor everyone wins. In the long run, sellers will make more business and thus more money and buyers are getting a better deal.
